Web hosting is always something that we can get almost stuck on, the reason why that is, is simply because we are not always sure of which web host is going to be the most perfect for us. Sometimes with a web host you have to think over its servers and if, along with the web host plan, if there will be an option of back up options. With a server with co-location web hosting, you are guaranteed to be getting a back up option. You do have a second server which is your backup, unlike other web hosts the option for having this does not come up and if anything should happen then your data is lost. When you go for co-location then the person that is in charge of the web host and its location is you. You can choose a co-location location centre; you can put your back up server anywhere you like just as long as it is kept safe. You have that option to keep the server wherever you like; with your server you could place that almost anywhere. This is movable so you could take this to a safe place such as a cabinet in a safe room in your home or in an office in your place of work. If anyone has had trouble with a server before and it has been damaged so much beyond repair then they will know that it is more than important to have a back up separately of course so that if there is any damage then there is a back up. With co-location the server can be moved freely and without any difficulties really. The possibility of fire damage or water damage to a server is always a possibility and that is something which cannot happen when a big business depends on their clients. Losing data of any kind can be very damaging to a company and its reputation as if companies have to start contacting people to get their information again can be something which loses clients.
