Host1Plus, as a web hosting provider, was launched in 2008. As a three year old company there are not actually many reviews, and those that are available seem to point to business inconsistency. Customer reviews bounce back and forth between good and bad in a short period of time, more specifically from May 2009 to August 2010. Because of the few customer reviews, we had to get more information about Host1Plus elsewhere. That meant going to their website and having a look at what's there. Not all web hosts have this capability, which makes Host1Plus very attractive for public free-ware users needing web hosting support. One of the greatest advantages of Host1Plus is how inexpensive their packages start at. Hosting packages can be purchased for as little as $2.95 a month. That's perhaps the most cheapest rate of any hosting service available on the internet. However, be aware of the good old saying, “You get what you pay for”. For Host1Plus to offer the lowest in web hosting services is a good thing, but as a company grows so does its overhead. Host1Plus grew fast within three years, because of the open-source services that they do offer. There are many open-source users wanting website hosting and support. Unfortunately, that basic $2.95 a month fee has a hard time of keeping up with company growth, thus it seems it has created some financial difficulties for Host1Plus and inconsistencies in their performance.
